Bozak E-300 Urban's

E-300 means without the midrange driver and the crossover unit, right?

Yes, that's my understanding.
Though the very, very early, mid 1950s E 300, with wrap-around grille cloth was ever so slightly taller than the more common completely square 1960s 302A.
The 'E' designation means it was sold as a kit, not as a finished speaker, btw.

Mine too. Circa 1960. However the previous owner of mine stupidly removed the legs, and couldn't remember what had happened to them after 49 years. Though I had a carpenter friend fabricate a pedestal base for my pair.

The 300 is essentially the same Urban cabinet with a B-207 woofer-tweeter array. But without the B-209 mid range driver. If highping adds the 209 mid they will become 302A Urbans.

Are the mids available individually and under what P/N or size?

How would you add it to the crossover?

Bozak is long out of business. IIRC they were done by the mid 1980s. Though the ™ lasted a bit longer.
However because thousands and thousands were sold over a 40 year period, and they are usually way too heavy to ship, there is quite a market for original Bozak parts.
If your potential pair are lacking mids and/or xovers they are readily available on the bay and at the Bozak Yahoo group.

The famous Bozak mid driver is an aluminum cone 6" or 6.5" B-209B. There are many slight variations on it, as it was in production for close to 25 years. It was used as THEE mid driver in virtually every Bozak full size system, starting in about 1962. The version of the non-B B-209, used prior to ca. 1962 was identical except those pre-B versions had brown paper cones, not black painted aluminum cones, like the B-209B.
