Brett A's Playlist.

Iggy Pop - New Values (cd) I can't get over how good this is! Why would anyone listen to Jonathan Richmond when there's Iggy Pop? (He asks with levity)

Ella Fitzgerald and Lois Armstrong - Porgy and Bess (cd)
It's been so hot here, I just had to play Summertime)

Bob Marley and the Wailers - Rastaman Vibration (cd)

This morning with coffee: Grateful Dead - Richmond Colosseum, Richmond, VA
11/01/85 start of Second Set (legally downloaded lossless bootleg. As I've mentioned before I grabbed about 300 shows off Archive before they pulled the lossless, mostly soundboard, recordings. This is one of them.

These labels are just something I used to make for my cassettes then carried over for the first 75 or-so CDs. I just get out the big paper and watercolors and cut them out after they've dried. I don't remeber what i used for the lettering, maybe a Rapiograph or fine Sharpie.

So far this morning, In order:

The Kinks - Word of Mouth (cd).
This has got to be one of the worst sounding CDs I've ever heard. It's shrill and tinny.

DEVO - Q: Are We Not Men? A: We Are Devo I have an import CD which uses this cover:

Neil Young and Crazy Horse - Ragged Glory (cd)

Grateful Dead - Hampton Colosseum 10/09/89 First Set (lossless soundboard)
