Capacitor & Resistor Schedules used by Yamaha

Here is that same MS label on two Electrolytic

MS should mean "Motor Start" rating as @Semanon said in post#6.
I might be wrong, but the "MS" in the BOM means capacitor with "Motor Start" rating since it is next to the cap tolerance code. So the capacitor could be either Electrolytic or Mylar.
In the schematic, the MS means it is Electrolytic cap with MS rating since it has the polar cap symbol.

I've always known MS to mean motor start. I fixed a number of tape decks with faulty MS caps. The ones in this amp are way too small and varied, plus there is no motor!

Their place in the schematic sheds no light on this for me, either.

Back in the mid '70 I worked in a Suzuki dealer, and the first time I cracked open a service manual to troubleshoot an ignition, one of the specs read "several ten ohms", with a hand written note from one of the other mechanics that said 70 ohms. Japanese translator "seven is several", LOL. Glad I can check the actual board to see whats there with these yammies.
