Classy Women

I was thinking the same thing also, since nothing popped up on an image search.
Sorry, just catching up with these comments. Not my wife, just someone who's come into my orbit who happens to take a very nice picture. Not famous (except to me). I'll preserve her privacy by neglecting to offer more except to say that this photo has the ability to cheer me up - the sunshine and the cabin play a part. My wife is blonde, but I've told her if things go sour I'm going brunette next.

Yer wife ... she ... um, could dye her hair ... (?)
I'm sure she could, lol... but I'm also sure she wouldn't. She'd be more likely to call my bluff. I live a precariously balanced life of third-rate posturing, obvious enough in it's deficiency to be 99% dismissed out-of-hand. But it's that 1% of uncertainty which sets the noise floor... and having a noise floor is useful.

It would be interesting to know the technical trail of this particular electronic image. Something about the tonal quality says "dye transfer print" to me. The internet says original by Horst P. Horst in 1941, a year before introduction of Kodacolor. So maybe a Kodachrome then converted to dye transfer?

I followed her occasionally provided Gorilla research write up segments in Nat. Geo. growing up through my father`s 30 yr. + ongoing subscription to that excellent monthly periodical !
And I seem to remember watching a couple of her special TV segments about the Gorillas & their plight.
The various Gorilla clans trusted her to hang out with them, I seem to remember, as well.

Yes, a soft spoken and very classy Lady, no doubt !

I thank you for presenting her in this thread, chicks, Sir.
