I believe you mean DAK, not Crutchfield. Most speakers sold by DAK were mediocre at best. There's no relation between the DAK Soundfield speakers and the earlier ones sold by other vendors, other than the name.
That being said, I haven't heard them, and if you like them, great, that's really all that matters. I'm just curious as to what other speakers you've compared them with.

interesting!!!!! So what do I have?????Thunder lizards?
EDIT----NOPE. Just Googled them and they had straight cabs (no angled baffle) and different drivers.
Similar but not the same.

Just an old fart trying to help.
I'm only GUESSING...but DAK had a smaller model in addition to the Thunder Lizards., maybe that is it?
EDIT----NOPE--yours are totally different. Though they may have been sold by DAK they are not either of the models I thought. The models I was thinking of were BSR sourced and yours DBX?
