Cs-88a recone

Does anyone have a place i can get a recone kit for pioneer cs-88a 12” speaker.it doesn’t have to be fb color,just want tofix it.

Did you look on ebay for someone parting out said speaker or someone just selling the woofer?
Best to replace with same type so you don't ruin the value of the speakers if you ever decide to sell them. The cs-88a are going for some money now. Changing out the driver to other than what was original really hurts the value.

They seem to be relatively available, as parts, on the auction site. The brown cones will never be able to be replaced if you were able to recone your driver. Personally I’d follow gizzyman47’s recommendation, the cost would probably be about the same, and you can retain the FB stamp. I’ve bought a mid and a woofers for my 88A and 99A’s on the auction site with no problem, but it’s been a few years...

I blew the woofers when i stacked them with advents with a sx-1050 only half volume,don’t know why that happened

I would buy replacement "original" drivers while you can still get them at a reasonable price. That's what I did with the CS-99a's I had. Bought original mids for one cabinet that got damaged.
