Anyone have some info or thoughts on these speakers? Dalquist M909's $99.00 on CL is this too much or worth it? Thanks

If I didn't make it clear, I want you to purchase those speakers as quickly as your feet can run. And I mean hop in the car and go, why aren't your shoes on now?
Amazing speakers.

They were listed under general items, guess I need to keep a eye on that section of CL also. I have a SANSUI G-771 pushing Pioneer CS-99'A now from the way you sound might have to move them aside for awhile. HOPE there are still available!

Hey Sir, Great news they were still available and they are now in my home. They sound incredibly smooth. Thanks for your advice. I will take some pictures later today. They are in good condition small tear on one grill cloth and one chip on the top back corner, the piece is still there but glued in.

Pic of the $99.00 Dahlquist M-909's deal or steal?

Let me know how I made out. They sound great!!

Well got a chance to crank them up a bit and one of the woffers has some poping going on. The noise is not heard at lower levels. Guess my luck ran out (LOL)! What eles could cause that besides a bad woffer. HELP

Have them hooked to an old SANSUI G-771 120 WPC. What are they rated to handle? Guess I will keep it down a bit.

Sounds like they were bottoming out. Check for air leaks around the woofer or in the cabinet other than the ports.

Could have just been bass heavy music with the loudness on?
