Mine just disintegrated as well. Replacement wise I used a high density 1/4 inch thickness foam.
I'd use something meant to damp vibrations like Dynamat.

Did these come from Denon (or where)? At last the postman came with my new bearings from Japan. Now i’m ready to get this DA-308 back to specs![]()
You can see if it is maintaining proper speed. Two pots inside can be adjusted if needed.Question.....
why do they have the strobe window when they don’t have any adjustments....?
it’s quartz only, right...?
Yes, I've seen this template. But there are no dimensions. I don’t understand how to use this template. Probably need to print A3 or A2...If the same as the DP-80 the template is available in the library of the Vinyl Engine.
Which plinth is better for DP-80? DK100, DK200, or DK300? Or something else?

I printed and then measured the large diameter dimension and compared to the actual DP-80 dimension. I then scaled my printer's enlargement feature to get it to print the correct size. As my printer is only able to print letter or legal paper I had to print on 2 sheets and tape together. After all the calc's and work I found a DK-300 with perfect dust-cover & hinges, so was all for naught.Yes, I've seen this template. But there are no dimensions. Definitely cannot go wrong with a DP-80.This thread has me Jones'n for a DP-80 to custom build....
