Well . . . at first blush, the answer is no, I do not like it :( . . .
but I imagine over time, this will become as familiar as the old.
 
Have not figured out how to find posts I have commented on and posts I have started. I know it has to be somewhere. I am getting too old for changes.
 
nope, hate it! I was able to go into a forum of my choice and see unread messages at a glance because they were in bold black , now it's just slightly darker, makes it hard to tell what I have read already, it's why I don't like Hoffman forums !

For posts - go upper right to your user name, left click to get pull down menu - choose "Your content" from the right column - it will put up a list of all your posts - however, be aware that before today, the search may not give you a lot of recent or near recent posts until the system finishes indexing old threads. That may take some time.

As for threads you started, still working on finding that.
 
The text needs to darker-much darker. My tired old eyes are having an extremely difficult time reading the new format.
That said, this is a great forum and I am proud to be a member.
 
No I do NOT like this new forum.
#1 I have trouble logging in as it will only take my password 1 time out of several attempts.
#2 My saved threads that I had categorized and nicely sorted are now just dumped in a big mess so I can not find anything.
#3 All the white background is way too bright and hard on my eyes.
#4 My signature graphic is not showing up.

vBulletin runs circles around XenForo for running a forum.

Where's the user CP? How do you tell subscribers from the rank and file? Where are my prior posts? What's with all this Facebook-inspired "like" crap? Have we all turned into teenage girls? I subscribed to AK for the content, not for a bunch of gadgets and "features" and it now seems very difficult to access that content. I know, I know ... learning curve, embrace change, yadda-yadda, but this isn't the only forum that's done this to me lately, and quite frankly I'm getting kind of sick of going through an entire re-education process every time I want to find a little information or light entertainment on my computer.

noogies, lets get started with your user CP>top of page hover the cursor over your name and a drop down will apeair.

Click on privacy>new page and you need to make your setting secure here as anyone on the net can see things right now.

Also on the left side is all the kind of stuff we normaly have.
