Dual 604 with Empire cartridge

I am reviving an old dual 604 turntable that I have had since the mid 70's. It has an Empire RM10 cartridge. Does anyone know where I might get a replacement stylus?

was originally sold with the most basic elliptical stylus made for this style of cartridge (the S22E), but is capable of using the most sophisticated styli Empire made for these '80s models-- which is saying something-- you don't need to use the original basic elliptical. Until a vendor lucks into a pile of original 1080 LT styli, get the affordable 4241-DID aftermarket stylus from this vendor. I have three myself and it's a very good stylus for very little money.

If you're an experienced and eager eBayer, you can look for two originals which are also very good: the 44 E and the 400 TC styli. Pfanstiehl indexed them as 241-DTC and 242-DET.

Thanks for the advice. I will look into that. I think I double posted the same thread. Still trying to figure this out. Anyway it is amazing to me the amount of information that some of you guys have about this stuff. Have a great day

Whoops, you're right; you did. The styli savatage suggested look to be the same as the one I did, only for a slightly different price. Good luck!
