Easy SE for the Masses

Thanks! I was wondering if SA had a store like that. Next time I'm out that way I'll check it out. All I have local is Home Depot and Fastenal.

Or full range to a set of monitors in conjunction with a sub. Very nice looking build. I like the thick top plate and the finish is superb.

Here is a pic to show how easy it is to wire up the amp. When I do the final wiring, I'll clean it up a bit. I left the OPT leads a little long on purpose. I'm waiting on input wire to get here. Should be done Saturday afternoon. :music:

Looking good. I have a Get*Set*Go board that I bought a while back that I will have to finally get around to building one of these days. This thread has already got me looking at OPT's. :D
 
Well after two weeks of hard labor the Clementine is born! :D I received the input wires today. Couldn't resist to finish. Hooked up the DBT and all was good. Wired it up in the system and was very surprised. :thmbsp: Played it for a hour or so. Transformers run cool. You can hold your hand on them forever. This is the best part, Zero Hum! I'll burn it in for a few days, then try some different tubes. BTW The Transcendars are worth a lot more than what they cost. Excellent bass. Never heard my Alpair 10P's sound better.

I took them off BT a few days ago. The amp makes them work. I'm not sure I'll want the AN 15". :)

What did you do to the metal top? looks like a matte finish? did you polish?
How about a finished photo underneath? did you add a bottom cover and/or feet?

More pics??? :D I'll see if I can get some in the dark. Tubes have a nice blue fog. I polished the aluminum. Looks like nickel plate. Didn't add bottom cover or feet yet.
 
Very nice looking , every amp that Shannon Parks designed that i have heard sounds very natural , no tubby bass or bright top end and well worth what he charges for his circuit board .

That is Truly an excellent build :music::thmbsp:
