EV Georgian crossover question

All great info here, thanks everyone! The T35 and 848HF's are the same in both. I don't know for a fact if both woofers are exactly the same. I do know one got reconed in the mid 1980's.
The older speaker has a X336, and the "newer" one (mid 1960's) has a X36, and X325.
The speaker in question is the X336 one.

Ok, update. Bought a known good 16ohm X336 and swapped it out. Definitely a difference, more bass response, overall better clarity. Still not convinced it's matching the right speaker. B&P dials working nice. From what I can tell visually, connections are not corroded.
If the reconed woofer has deeper bass sound, does this make sense or it's a product of the X336 crossover vs the other set up (X36 & X336)

Hi everyone, I have a related, but slightly different question. I have a pair of EV Aristocrat speakers with the base SP-12TRXB drivers. I have acquired good pairs of SP12, T20, and T350 (8 ohms) drivers. I also have a pair of T35's if the T350s don't play well in the cabinets. My plan is to build crossovers and will likely go with a 2nd order set up. My education on crossovers is starting from scratch but I have been doing lots of reading. From what I have read, I want the two crossover freqs to be at least 3 octaves apart (a factor of 8). In original format (SP12, T20, T35), the crossover frequencies would have been 800 and 3500, a factor of only 4.375. My thought was to split the difference and crossover at 500 and 4000. Do any of you have input on the frequencies at which I should cross over?
