favorite vintage JBL speakers?

I'm kinda partial to my C36's with the 030, although there are a few other old JBL's I'd love to have more... but I sure don't have that kinda cash..

Falling in love all over again with my L150A's, after moving them upstairs into my bigger audio room to use with the Tandberg rack where they're powered by a 3026A. I kept these and sold my L220's, and am still good with that decision.

I'd say anything 4-way is going to be great. I love the 250Ti to death, as well as the rest of the Ti series. The rare and unknown XPL series is also very worthy, if you can find one.

I went and listened to a pair of Paragons about 5-6 years ago and I was mesmerized to say the least. So much so, that I nearly bought them. They did have a very colorful, domaneering sound, but I just broke down when I could not talk the seller down to what price I could afford. oh well.

I had the opportunity to listen to Dan's 250Ti's as he's the one that picked them up from me. I actually picked them up for Dave, and had them in the back of my Power Wagon for a month, before Dan & Dave struck a deal. I did get a chance to listen to those but not too much because the surrounds were starting to crumble. They sounded very good powered by my SX-1250 Pioneer.

I'm confused

I am fascinated by this statement. I thought that the Paragon was a complete speaker system, not a speaker to be used in pairs.

Please enlighten us and correct my misunderstanding about the Paragon.

Yes, the seller had two of those, and he wanted to get rid of them both.

That is so strange!

I have never heard of someone using 2 Paragons!

Could you not afford one of them?

If you don't mind me asking, what did he want for the pair of them and how long ago was this?

Well I am sure that my favorite JBL's would be some pair that I have never been in the same room with. ( like a pair of paragons OY !)
Favorites that I have spent quality time with, L 112.
What I have J 216's.
