can anyone tell me how to hook up a pair of speakers to my X-202? All those connections in the back are confusing and I don't have the operators manual. Thanks!

It's in Digital Docs....

thanks, but those instructions do not match my X-202, there is NO wire coming from the chassis to connect anywhere, and the channels are marked "channel A" and "channel B", so left and right are incorrect as well. From the schematic it appears as though there was a small shorting wire connected from channel B 16 ohm to the next terminal over, and a longer shorting wire connected from channel B ? terminal to channel A ? terminal, the ? not marked as to the lettering, only to relative locations on the terminal strip which really means almost nothing to me. Hell, I don't even know where to connect me speakers to, I am guessing the desired impedance (4, 8, 16) and where the negative of the speaker goes where? Also, I don't see in the database any user manual for the X-202, only the service manual.

Go to the Fisher consoles website and download the 1961 Executive owners manual. I think page 14 shows the wiring diagram.

I agree--the 202 leave no option out.

So sorry, those instructions are for the x-202-B. I shoulda read more carefully, sorry.

g -- On the 202, Channel A = Left, and Channel B = right.

For Channel A, connect the minus speaker lead to the "G" (Ground) terminal, and the positive speaker lead to the appropriate impedance tap.

For Channel B, connect the minus speaker lead to the "L" (Low) terminal, and the positive speaker lead to the "H" (Hot) terminal next to it. ALSO on Channel B, connect a jumper between the "S" (Speaker) terminal, and the appropriate impedance tap.

So connected, the speaker phasing will be correct with the Phase switch in the "Normal" setting -- assuming that none of the internal wiring has been disturbed to the speaker connection block.

The X-202 is a wonderful amplifier -- good luck with it!

Thanks, guys, that is a big help. The Executive was all service manuals, so that didn't work, Dave, your instructions should be good to go, Rocjr, thanks, unfortunately the printing is so small when I grab it that I cannot make it out, but should be able to go from here, thanks all!
