Will jj el84 tubes work in an fisher x100-3 that calls for 7189 opt tubes?Thanks in advance.

they will but won't last that long, look a Sovtek EL 84M's or Russian 6P14P's

Look for the Soviet 6P14P-EV tubes. The standard 6P14P's ratings will be about the same as an EL84, you need the uprated EV tube to replace 7189s.
