The power meter lights on my Sansui G-9000DB went out last night. Is there anyone on the boards who has the replacements?

Bummer.

There are four lamps in the unit...one each on the far left and far right of the tuner display, and one each behind the tuning meters and power meters.

Dwojo will have a workable lamp, but it will be a wedge lamp, and the leads don't take to solder very well. You have to bare the wire going to the lamp, and wrap it around the lamp leads several times, and mash it all with a pair of needlenose pliers (has to be small so that when solder is applied it can fit through the hole in the silicone lamp holder). Put paste flux on the connection, and flow solder into it. This hopefully will surround the lamp wire with solder and make good connection.

The lamp you need is an 8V 250mA lamp. Might ask him if he has some that measure closer to 210mA so it'll match the others better.

Glen,
I've been offering them with soldered wires now since they're such a pain to solder, it's well worth the extra buck each since they don't take solder very well. I have about 100 of those very low ma versions right now, most are 220ma which should be fine here, Dave.

Here's the wire transformation;
