Garrard table help?

I picked up a pretty clean Packard Bell console over the weekend and it has a Garrard turntable in it. However, it is missing the stylus. Can anyone direct me to the correct replacement for this one?

Pull the cartridge out for an ID. Looks like that headshell doesn't come off, so you may need to remove the single screw in the back of it to drop the cartridge out if it doesn't mount in some sort of a clip.

yeah it looks ceramic-ish to me as well. Pull it out, there is probably a name on it someplace. Worst case you can always change it to something else. Add a mag phono stage and mate it to whatever sort of cartridge you like. If it runs 2-3 grams you should be fine.

I think thats a Garrard 3000 ? Something similar to that anyway. Not exactly the same one used in KLH systems but pretty close. AT6 mechanism with the tonearm that has no counterweight or removable shell. There were a dozen or more models with that basic mechanism, differences in arms, motors, and paint jobs really being the only difference. This one happens to be one of the better looking ones. Some of the better models were actually fairly dismal looking, sort of a metallic olive drab color with grey trim.

Any pictures of the console itself? I just got a Packard bell console myself with a Garrard AT6 TT.

I think that will need a new Stylus and will debate whether a different/better cartridge is in order too.

If anyone is looking for an Emerson console that is in good physical condition but the Garrard TT needs fixing up let me know; Situated just outside of LA.
