The only place I can find that actually sells them is standsandmounts. Even the one ebay seller who has them gets them directly from standsandmounts. You might see if they have a Memorial Day promo.

I posted this in other threads so sorry if some have seen it.
It's 1/4" steel powder coated shelves, large diameter solid aluminum rod, lathe turned, tapped for 1/2" studs, with hockey pucks under each rod. The center stand is a jack that loads all the shelves against each other. The rear has a sheet of smoked Lexan to hide the cables. Feet are solid bronze with pucks, and also a center jack. TV bracket is 1/8" steel and sits in a grooved aluminum ball milled block that has cap screws holding it together. It weighs about 350 lbs. Each shelf is 73 pounds.
My kids gave me the TV for Christmas so I had to redesign the entire entertainment area. Best thing that ever happened to my system, as it allowed me to escape the 1980's.

“Modular Rack System” (top pic and bottom 2 pics) 5 done, 2 to go. I will use 5 (and possibly the additional 2 at some point) for my future main system. My initial setup will be 3 wide, two tall on the ends (hold up new 65” flatscreen), and just 1 in the middle. All hand sawn from 4x8 plywood. Ive had the ones in the 2nd and 3rd pic for a while, but just snapped the pics of the 3 new ones. Also shown is an older basic homemade rack as well as a ruggedized Kenwood rack that I may spray paint black.

LIke the idea, but jeez, aren't you cutting it close on that Forte amp? Looks like there's no room for it to breathe.

In the last photo - showing the side of the cabinet - is that a cooling fan controller? Where are the fans located, and how are they oriented? Really nice idea in an enclosed audio center. Me likey!

Yes that is a temp controller I added after took the other photos. . I have just one of double plate fans (linked below) under the cabinet about 4 inches off the floor pointing straight up. My gear is very cool running, and the fans keep the internal temp around 80-82 degrees. This with the fan speed between off and lowest speed.. I really have very cool running gear which helps.

I’ve grown tired of the 12’ wide monstrosity here.
Believe I’ll try to sell it locally. I had it custom build back in the 90’s from the proceeds bass boat won and sold. Pattered from a Broyhill piece. Back from a time before the flatscreen sizes were huge.

At one point we had a big dude like that. They dominate the space.
It got much easier to play with the room when we got multiple smaller pieces.

Changed out my rack/stand in my living room yesterday. Not exactly high-end, but the beefier steel frame (vs. aluminum) and thicker 1/4" glass shelves (vs. 1/8") are much better suited to support the weight of some of these components. The Ikea Gettorp worked ok, despite being way beyond its weight limit.
Paid $40 off of Craigslist and a quick flash over the frame with some Satin black rattle can and she's looking like new.

Thanks, picked them up for trading material, never intended to keep but, after one listening session I was so impressed they became one of my main system speakers.
