rack is made from 3/4 copper tube, with tempered glass shelf's.

grabbed this one at a thrift store for $15. nice and sturdy, low center of gravity, it's got shelves on the back-side that I store my music DVDs on now, and a cabinet underneath for spare turntable parts. Using this one now instead of my Ikea expedit (seen in the second picture), which forms the other leg of an L for holding my records.
I found myself with a free day and an abundance of LEDs, so I rigged up some lighting within the cabinet which helps with listening at night.
First three pics are during the day, fourth is to give an idea of what it looks like lit up.

Here's the cabinets we just finished. 13x26 inch openings designed to primarily fit records, but also components. The CS-33 Pioneers just happen to slide right into the lower corners.
The top is a single piece of Indonesian redwood. 2" thick, 20" wide and 10ft long from a reclaimed boat dock in Bali.

Very Very nice! I love the wood finish and the finishing touches of the decor.

My very first flexy rack build. This thing was really was a fun and cheap build. One sheet of 3/4" hardwood ply, four 1/2" threaded rods and a box of nuts and washes. And it was a much better use of my time rather than ruffling feathers about speaker relays
I was never really happy with the old equipment stand but it did serve the purpose for a couple of years. One more coat of semi gloss poly and hopefully I can put into use tomorrow.

Here's mine. It's almost finished. I just need to put a couple of coats of wax on it after the 3rd coat of tung oil dries. It's 44"w x 23"D x 36"H It's my first attempt at mortise and tenon construction. (Those are shadows on the end of the shelves)

Oh...That's easy.....just call Maple Shade, they got plenty....I see you are a Canton speaker owner...3.2's....now there are a total of 4 of us here....we are growing. what color ? I bet those FETS in that Halo sounds really good in that Canton midrange.

Well I have not got the Canton's in just yet, but I am working on it....lol
I hope within the next 4 months I will have the $$$ to go ahead and get them.
I have a friend that is a Rep and he is giving me a pretty good deal on a pair.
As far as color I am going to go with the Cherry “piano finish”. I did call Maple
Shade and man the prices are not on the cheap side....But I think I am going to go
with the Samson V3 with 3 shelves, just incase I decide to add a truntable later on....
I cannot believe there are not more people that have Canton here in the States....

i love the flexi racks check out the pics in my profile, I went ahead and made end tables, coffee table, desk and PC/printer/VPI rack. The possibilities are endless with these.
