I still have an ArcTeryx Softshell jacket when they were still made in BC. It's still in great shape and it ain't going anywhere
Well, I dropped off the 2nd Willsenton R300 (in the end, crap Transformers) at my local Goodwill..

It's been an unreal couple of weeks at the local thrifts. A couple of weeks ago I found a bag of mint condition 1980s transformers, with all accessories, cards, weapons etc. I found them while out buying a guitar. Paid $18 and flipped them an hour later for the same amount I paid for the guitar. This week has been a photographic bonanza. Tonight I found a Fuji X-E2 with a metabones Nikon to Fuji adapter($700 by itself), a Nikon 28mm 2.8, Nikon 50mm 1.2, Rokinon 14mm 2.8, a Rolleiflex 3.5E, and a Remarkable 2 tablet. Total damage? $86. Insanity. This is gonna be a lot of fun to play with. There may not be as much good audio gear, but there is still plenty out there to be had.

Regarding TVs...several of the thrifts around here have adopted a "new" policy on pricing.
They are now one dollar per diagonal inch including the case.
Used to be able to pick up a 47" for 15-20 bucks.
Now they are $48-50 depending on how big the case is around the viewable area.

That's still 50-ish % cheaper than over here.
On average, prices are usually 'assumption based' for used TV's here at Goodwills and such rather than based on a system.
I bought a handful of used flatscreens for my kids recently. Despite higher prices than the above example, still relatively new screens for little money compared to buying new..
I've been curious about those Remarkable tablets. I take handwritten notes at work meetings and probably have 5 different paper notebooks floating around. I usually take a photo of my notes with my phone after the meeting because I know I'm going to lose track of the notebook. Would be nice to have to track just 1 object.
The high cost is off-putting, as is the monthly subscription fee. But I'd try one for a few months if I got the hardware for next to nothing!

Finally went back to Buy the Pound after 5 months of home lockdown while I was doing chemotherapy. Still in chemo but I have progressed enough that I can rejoin the human race and go out thrifting again. Didn't find a lot but I did pick up a small group of hippie books and a cassette of Christmas songs using real frog calls. Also scored 10 large tubes of acrylic paint and 6 picture frames to use for my drawings. Total for everything was $13.00.

Been kind of dry around here.
Had a dentist appointment yesterday that gets me close to the thrift circuit in the next city over.
SA was a bust, as was GW.
Lighthouse, OTOH, netted me a $4 hotel pillow (my current pillow is a hotel pillow from a different chain, also purchased there), a $20 patio umbrella missing it's bottom pole section (I can make one), and a couple interesting T shirts.
This past weekend, I did the circuit in my city MoW (Meals on Wheels) was dry as was SA.
At GW, I tried to buy a set of three, hand made, real wood shelves, marked at $15 each.
They were very awkward to carry and somewhat heavy. When I got to the register, the not so English speaking attendant kept saying "these are sale". Which kind of sounded like "on sale", but turned out to be "sold". Gee- why not remove them from the floor, or at least mark them as sold. I left them at the register, but that was probably a favor for those that bought them and the staff. You are NOT welcome.
Tomorrow, I have a work trip planned between two branch sites, and will pass three thrifts.
I usually take my lunch in transit, and so can also pop in for a look.

So I would not have bought one of these if it wasn't $15. I did not realize there was a subscription cost, but I don't think it's necessary for basic use. I will most likely use this for drawing and such, so don't really need cloud storage. We will see though. I may also use it at work for case notation before transferring it to our CRM software. Right now I go through a LOT of sticky notes lol.

Welcome back to the world! Glad to hear chemo is going (fairly) well. It's never fun, so any small win is awesome. Love that cassette, it's my kind of weird. May need to track one down myself.

Great "back in the day" shirt I couldn't pass up in my size for 2 bucks.
Wore it the next day.
YNF was "the" radio station in FL in the late 80's.
Many MTV videos where band member are wearing this shirt....not even FL bands!
Larry the Cable Guy got his start calling into the Ron and Ron morning show.
interestingly, it's a repro with a modern, real thin vertical tag.
Who's reproducing this?

This Eddie Bauer was a whopping 6 bucks.
Wearing it today.

Your Remarkable find got me thinking about E ink notetaking again, so I bought a Kindle Scribe. I've used it at one meeting so far, and it performed very well.
Not as nice as the Remarkable, purportedly, but I'm not unhappy with it.
Oh, and I noticed you also got the Nikon 50mm 1.2 lens. Nice! I have the 50mm 1.8 and it's fantastic.
