That is doable with some clearing out and rearranging. These are going to stay in my 2 car garage. The rooms in the house are not big enough,what with the necessary furnishings and even without.They won't be used until I get the interconnects.
 
Interesting what is considered a bargain now. Pickings have been non existent, some decent sales on FBM, some more sales if people weren't goofy.

Here are a couple decent buys. Of course nothing audio related. First one is on the pitch official, the second is replica. I am always a sucker for a good jersey.

A Pioneer Elite VSX-43-TX paired with Polk Audio SDA-2B speakers. $50 for everything including cables. Already sold the Pioneer, the Polk's are keepers. First photo as found, second photo as set up. The Polk's are a little challenged cosmetically, but nothing that can't be repaired. They sound fantastic!

Damn nice score! Even the Pioneer.I have a couple of Elites that sound really good once you get past the dsps.Did you get the interconnect cable with the speakers? Grills?

Yes, I did get the interconnect cables and the grills. The cloth side panels are coming off them, but they're intact. In fact, there is finished wood under the cloth side panels, If I can get the glue off, I may just leave them that way.

Good that you got the cable.Im seeing they are not that easy to come by.My side panels on the pair I just picked up have come unglued also.Im not sure if they are finished underneath them. You got a good deal there.

Awesome score! I have both of those as well except mine are the earlier signature series. Quality amps are key to making them sound best musical wise. As others have mentioned the interconnects are farily easy to remake. There is also info about making a dreadnought cable if needed on the web as well. Forgot of hand what polarity the amps are that requires the dreadnought instead of the regular interconnects. Also a company called vr3 mods, made upgrade kits for the crossovers and binding posts so your interconnects were swapped to neutrik. They were a highly respected and recommended on the polk forums as the goto if you owned sda's. Don't know if they are still around. I run mine off two carver amps running in bridged mono. 325 watts per speaker at 4 ohms. Enjoy them but if you do decide to part with them, I'll take them off your hands.

Pretty dry around here.

Last week, did find a pair of these interesting Radio Shack ( note- NOT Realistic), package tray 4 ohm, 40 watt car speakers.

They look promising, with an in-tact woofer surround. 4", three way.

The are vented in the rear, and you can see that the magnet is as large as the cone!

I have a sub that will hopefully work well with them in my 1973 Satellite.

$3 each.

Thanks. I'm looking into fabricating my own pair of interconnects.Once I determine they are fully functional and audition them I may look into the upgrades. If all is good I have a Krell Kav 250p and 250a combo at 250 wpc that will than likely be their resident amp. Both these pair have no frozen drivers and are fairly clean just need a good cleaning of the grill cloths.Never thought I'd see a pair of the SRS surface at an ARC store.Both pair were just put out. I don't frequent thrifts like I used too.Perfect example of being at the right place at the right time.

Wasn't cheap but was one hell of a score. $400 out the door from Will of the Good. 1995 Made in Japan '69 reissue mustang. Plays like a dream. Needs a little work but for that price it was a no-brainer. My first legit Fender guitar. I've had plenty of Squiers, but never the real deal. Now I need to learn Breed.

Bought my brother a brand new jag-stang in that color when they first came out.
