I really like those SDGR basses.
Most natural feel for me.
I have a midrange one with active pickups that I bought right after I played one at guitar center.
Then I found another, similar to yours at a pawn shop for $75 and couldn't pass it up.

That's awesome! These basses have a great feel, nice & light, love the color too. I'm left handed so I'm not sure if I am going to reverse it yet but the cutaway is perfect making this a great candidate. My favorite strat is a 1981 Ibanez Blazer, I like even better than my Fender AS and Fender Japan strats.

Found this very cool little Boss Katana 7 watt Mini Amp at the GW a couple days ago in mint condition. It sounds amazing for its size and has some great features, perfect for testing guitars in the wild also makes for a great travel amp etc. I can add an ac power adaptor but it runs on 6 AA batteries just fine only $4.99 . . . they sell new for $115.

Been quite a while since I brought something home from my favorite thrift .These weren't super cheap like days of the past.Like most they look up online pricing but I've always wanted a pair.Whether they work out for me remains to be heard. They came out of a church is the story.No interconnecting cables

Potentially great sound for less than $2 a pound!

I've been told that these are difficult for some amps to drive.

Let us know how they sound....

Holy Cow, I can't wait to show those pics to my wife so she maybe lays off me a little about my speakers! She wouldn't ask for a divorce, she'd just kill me and a woman judge would let her walk : )

I would assume they are not easy to drive but I have a few amps that should be able to.Always wanted some ADS 1530 speakers but they are rare and pricey so this may be as close as I get to those.

Wow; what a great score! Those are also the more desirable 2.3tl version. Give them some breathing room with the interconnect and a high current amp and you'll be grinning ear to ear.

Thats what I am hearing.Never thought i would come across these local. It does present a new challenge coming from a place where I was seriously downsizing but these do not come around here so I had to get them. Thanks
 
The interconnect might be called a 2 pin DIN. They look similar to those that B&O and other Euro manufacturers use.
 
$8 Savers find - came with a cool bag and it’s 14 pounds (which is what I throw)

Keep them 3' minimum from sidewalls. If you're able to do this they will cast a solid image all the way to the sidewall. I've yet to hear another pair of speakers able to do that as convincingly as the big sda's.
