Kindred

Something reaches through
Distant heartbeat in between
Do souls have a name?

They do, and they call it..."Love".

TRANSITIONS

Fall and now Autumn
first cousins in Nature's brood
both living short lives.

FEAR

Dry mouthed with goose bumps
along with rapid hearts beats
you stomp on our nerves
causing short breaths to take place
with adrenaline response!

Oh, Berry Me Not....

Raspberries have come.
Branches bending as they grow.
Dark and full of juice,
Their weight teases gravity
as they drop down to the grass.

Nightmares

His eyes held secrets.
The kind that keep you awake.
Soft and disturbing,
Filled with murmurs and dark light,
Never fully realized.

[bobsvinyl]

Sightless

Born empty headed
Blindness now embedded
Do you see a light?
Do your wrongs make it alright?
Or is your logic shredded?

Oh, Berry Me Not....

Raspberries have come.
Branches bending as they grow.
Dark and full of juice,
Their weight teases gravity
as they drop down to the grass.

I can actually taste them...through your words!

Or is your logic shredded?

This "share" tends to turn the eyeballs inward, bv.
