Congrats !! Hope you enjoy it ; I had a hk and gave it to a good friend still wish I had it sometimes, but oh well! it brought me tons of good audiokarma. Im still waiting for another hk and this one I wont part with so quickly. Nice strong equipment!!

It is really worth keeping. I like it a lot.
I have had a 330C/EPI 100 combo in my home for three weeks. All I can say is WOW!! It sounds fantastic!! I personally feel it is the quality of sound that I have been looking for. The combo has a unique quality to it and I have several tube amps. I was planning on building a few more tube amps but now I have found what I have been looking for. Who knew, that the least expensive gear that I have could sound so good. I just have to laugh, and enjoy the great sound.

My 330c is one fine unit. I have rigs and stacks of gear and other stuff too, but it is nice to know the 330c sitting over there is a one touch (push the on-off switch) great sounding receiver. For me it is a large, great sounding table radio with a few other components hooked up to it.

I rescued one of those and fixed the FM section. It was very impressive. It went to a new home to help make room for "new" toys. Fond memories though.
There once was a comparision done between the 330C and a Marantz 2275. It seemed strange since they are not in the same scale, but just being compared to the 2275 says loads about it.

That looks very very nice. Congrats on a good find. I mostly use Yamaha, but HK is one of the only other receivers that I've liked enough to consider picking up.
It seems like I heard or read a while back that HK used alot of hard wiring in their earlier componets.

Dak you know I have both a 630 and 930 HK twin. They were my father's, and he left them to me. For that reason I'll never get rid of them, but I don't know if I could anyhow.
If you ever get a chance to snag anything HK with the twin technology, don't think twice. They are exceptional sounding units.

HK 330C is a very good budget receiver that doesn't sound like a budget receiver. I have one hooked up to some rebuilt Advent 4002's and it sounds near perfect. It's going back in my darkroom and paired with some Infinity SL30 bookshelf speakers. Oh, it sounds very nice with those Infinity's also. I just got my first Marantz and to tell you he truth, I could be satisfied owning either one as my only unit. JohnW

Love the ads...I recently had a 430 hooked up to Avid 103 speakers in a small room and it was a match made in heaven...
