Help on a fastener.

Any idea where to source a driver to remove this fastener? A Phillips won't work. It is used on a Chinese scope and the head is 5mm.

Butter knife, obviously.

If it doesn't gain purchase in the screw slots, then slip in under the flange and bend up at 3 and 6 o'clock and then grab wirth pliers.

If that fails, Amazon has really cheap 'stripped screw' tool sets.

Try a Japanese JIS bit just diffrent enough from philips head .

Compatibility: A JIS driver works well on both JIS and Phillips screws.
A Phillips driver will damage a JIS screw because it cannot seat all the way down into the recess

Of course, that picture has too square looks in the middle compared to the real thing...;)
