If you could point me to the page you mention I would really appreciate it. I can't seem to find it. I have manuals and schematics to share but they may be redundant and I'm not sure where to post them.

I didn't see a way the woofers could be easily removed from the baffle. The speaker enclosure is screwed, glued, wood jointed into the console.

Thanks AnalogBrad. I guess they thought they would never need replacing. I presume you didn't get yours out of the Copley console?

The designers certainly didn't think they'd be in service 50 years later. I removed the baffles with the Heppner woofers still connected. I sold the baffles locally to a guy who was going to use them as open baffles. I am guilty of demolishing the console. In my defense, it was 1/2 hour from going into a dumpster, during a house cleanout. I still have the hybrid receiver.

Unfortunately, my console is not dumpster bound so I'll need to get creative. Do you know anything about the hybrid receiver you picked from it? I'm trying to identify my model number.

briefly scrolling through that link I sent, I see nothing obvious about consoles and their equipment. If you have access to those PDF's maybe you can dig a little deeper. I'm suspecting though that you may not find anything there that's a perfect match. From the H.H. Scott archive website, it looks like they are asking for info about any of the Scott consoles, but if memory serves me correct, it's been years since it was updated? Nonetheless, you may find some of the links here helpful as well: http://hhscott.com/wanted.htm

Only if you’re looking to maintain the original appearance. I installed them in my LK-72 as is. I’ve grown to like the high shine look.

I have the pamphlets that were provided with the consoles. The receiver is just referred to as Berkley. I have the schematics, if you need them.
 
I have three fully restored 222c's. I've owned quite a bit of gear over the years and for my low powered-casual-critical listening the search ends for me with these integrateds.

Warm, smooth, intimate sounding amps loaded up with all NOS tubes that just do it for me at low volumes. Every time.

I have a Scott 382C which works great. But I did notice two things went belly up at the same time, so I'm guessing whatever went bad is causing both problems.

The FM Muting Switch which was working, all of a sudden stopped muting the hiss between stations in either position, while at the same time the hiss and weaker FM mono stations are not switching off of FM Stereo unless I manually select mono. is always coming in Stereo. The hiss and weaker Stereo stations used to be in mono and not light up the FM Stereo light. And I can hear the hiss really is in stereo.

There is an adjustment to adjust the FM Muting response/Stereo circuit, but it does nothing. If a station is broadcasting in mono, the FM Stereo light does go off. Also, if I select the Mono/Stereo switch, the FM will switch to mono or stereo.
It's like the FM Stereo and Muting circuits are both set to a max, and have disallowed the pot adjustment to control.

I assume the problem would be on the Multiplex Board? Any ideas? I'm thinking the Motorola IC (MC15118P) which is the circuit for MPX, Stereo, Stereo detection, FM Mute went belly up.

My restored LK-72. Recently installed the Hayseedhamfest can caps.
So, any successful techniques to remove-polish the scratches in the unpainted edges?
Is there some kind of factory finish that prevents any corrosion or oxidation I need to know about?
The tubes don't glow that brightly, the camera did that! Looks cool though!

My only HH Scott piece. It’s had some lytics replaced under the hood. I think sounds excellent.
