How to pop the top off AR94s?

Anyone know how to pop the wood top off of AR94s to get to the sock?
I read that they screw off, but have no luck. If I try harder, I'll break them.

Some screw off (four obvious screws on top) some just pop off. Never had an issue. Then you can take the staples out and take the sock off.

On my AR93's, the top was secured with the same nylon buttons/sockets that many grilles use. I just stuck a table knife in there and popped it off. The sock had a drawstring.
