I bought the wrong stylus

I got a stanton 681EEE but I bought a stylus for a 681EE.

Input please. Did I do anything realy bad or???????????

TT is a sony PS-X7 with a SME headshell.

If it's a NOS 681EE it might believe it or not sound better. Plus I like the fit and finish on the 681EE stylus I picked up.

Ps- the platter of that PS-X7 has a brown strip the color of cassette tape ribbon on the outside edge.

Don't chip it, scratch it, get finger prints on it, wash it, or get it near magnets!

It's a magnetic strip and is needed for the X-Tal speed lock to properly work.

Careful with it!

Then it's not NOS. But it should still fit and work just fine.

Does it have a Silver Sphere on one side of the stylus assembly? If so than it's a EE

I dont quite know what you mean buy silver sphere. Cant take a pic cause my camera Is a POS for macro. my 35mm is a killer but thats another story
