Trying to find ohm ratings and other stats on various infinity midrange drivers...anyone who has an RS II series with the 3 mids know the ohm resistance from one of them...?

thanks,

Hmmmm.....

i wonder what would happen if the polydome mids on a IIIa were swapped for the 5" poly mids...

its not that I don't like the domes, but I think its safe to say that those 5" mids are some of the best mid drivers that infinity ever made...

I agree, they are some very nice sounding drivers. And they age a HELL of a lot better than those polydomes. I'd say it's worth trying.

The 5" poly mid driver is crossed over at around 300hz and 3000hz the 2.5" dome around 600hz and 6000hz in most designs.

5" poly mids in my RSM's are crossed over at 500hz and 5000khz if that helps any.
Just measured a couple pairs of 5" mids.
Small magnet pair--3.7 and 3.8 ohms
Large magnet pair--3.9 and 3.9 ohms
