Curious as to where you get the 5000S. Or did you mean 5000's?
Looks a lot like the 5000 shown here http://www.infinity-classics.de/models/XX00-series-1975/index-XX00.htm EXCEPT yours has the Phillips midrange. I wonder if the Phillips was OEM or replaced by a previous owner.

That Phillips mid was used in other infinity’s....the quantum line used it as mid bass coupler..

I know that. OP's terminal plate says 5000
Infinity Classics page for 5000 shows a different midrange, granted there are only 5 images. Here is the terminal plate for the 5000 on that page, same as OP's.http://www.infinity-classics.de/models/XX00-series-1975/Model-5000+A/5000_4_1.jpg Is the 5000a labeled different on the terminal plate from the 5000?
Possible there was a 5000a and it was different from the 5000, maybe they used different midranges?
Maybe Infinity did use the Phillips in some 5000 models, or the OP's has a replacement.
I agree they are an oddball and not much info is available.
Google images has a couple pictures of the model that has a different midrange from the OP's.
Not the first time there is confusion about Infinity model numbers and/or components.
Granted it's a small sampling due to limited Google results, but I couldn't find any other 5000 models with the Phillips mid. I'd like to see more if someone could post images or links.
Just trying to build the knowledge base here.
I still feel this AK Infinity forum is one of the best sources for Infinity info.

Yes just 5000 , have also seen the poly mid and Phillips mid on pics. Very few pics out there . Phillips mid is real heavy paper compared to my Qb mids.

Until the Quantum series, Infinity's product line was somewhat haphazard. This series appears to be contemporaneous with the original Monitor series (Infinity Classics mistakenly bundles it with the SM series, with which it bears no relation), with its (mostly) Walsh tweeters. My guess is that these would have been considered their entry level line (the 5000 being the top), with the Monitors being the higher end models. The 1500e is a mystery; I think that's a newer model (however, I doubt the date of 1988 given on that page is correct either).

pair of 3000s and none of the drivers are common. Interesting that they show an image of a Philips driver so as previously posted it could be a legitimate replacement.

Looked at Ebay and they seem to be between 3000P and reference studio monitors. This is because I see Phillips mids and a poly mid in different pics. Thanks a lot
