Interesting SE EL84 design, ;^)

Looks like real good screen and front end stabilization filtering. If the rest is equally overdone could be a pretty decent piece.

The power specs are over stated of course. More like 5WPC but not an important spec anyway. Looks pretty nice. I like that they buffered the tone controls. My GE runs inputs through vol, bal, AND tone controls before the first tube grid.

Also without THD & IMD specs the power rating and frequency response need to be taken with a grain of salt. It does sound quite nice though and that's only with the internal speakers. There are external speaker outputs though so I will have to see/hear what this little amp sounds like through some decent speakers.

I imagine that it is more in the 5 to 7 watt range. I'm running my Almarro SE EL84 amp through my Goodman 401 Axioms right now and it sounds quite good. Will be interesting to hear how this Electrohome compares. :yes:

Couldn't resist the Capistrano even though I didn't expect much. Thought I might just see what tubes were in it and then maybe give it away. Now I'm not so sure:scratch2:

Will have to see what the wife says about it being on the deck .
