Is this Marantz receiver rare?

Is the 2330B considered rarer than other 22XX & 23XX Marantz receivers? According to classicaudio it is considered X-Rare. Are these ratings from classicaudio accurate?

2325's are common. 2330's are hard to find but they are out there. i bought 2 2330's the same year. they where in my state

No they are not particulary rare. What does make them rare now it those that have them typically don't get rid of them.

I know that the 2330 I just got is most likely staying with me for good. So keep an eye out for my estate sale. That's about when I'll be letting it go.

There are some that label equipment as rare only due to the fact that they rarely come up for sale especially on E-Bay. It has nothing truly to do with actual production numbers. This may or maynot be the case with the 2330B.

That's kind of cool... but they don't have listing for the 500 which I think is about 1000.

But they really make over 100K of the 2325?
