Since AK is primarily US based, you'll find a preponderance of the Marantz models that were built for and sold to the US market discussed. Also, most of the older AK members who grew up with Marantz US models are more familiar with the 1960-1980 models. As Marantz got sold to Philips, a lot of the interest in later grey or black 80's models that were sold in the US or Europe just didn't generate as much interest.
