Start a bedroom system with it. I had forgot how good my MC2500 sounds until I swapped it and the C39 in. You can get a great LED panel display for little cash these days. Plus many streaming amps. On TV I am using the yamaha pro amp to drive rear surrounds in dolby surround mode for TV and movies for an old dog preamp the C39 is awesome. The MC2500 so woke up the bass on the XRT20s.My tells me the same. Thank you.
You do realize that you will need 2 for stereo.

Same thing with A car.You step on the gas and Hold on!!!Why anyone would need 1,200 watts for a pair of speakers is absurd. A speaker doesn’t know whether an amplifier has 1,200 watts or 300 watts. A watt is a watt. If the McIntosh amplifier is designed properly, they should both perform to the same specifications!![]()

I agree. A small car with a small engine can be fun to drive always reving it to redline and working the machine. Take that same body with three times the horses you get better performance at a smoother and easier less stressed ride. Then you get accustomed to the ease of the ride. Until you really decide to kick it..........!!!!!! After that moment your perception of performance has been altered and the world of what you wish to own has transformed.
I agree, the previous 1.2KWs felt like a torquey V8/V12 to me compared the other amps. I am looking forward the the new MC1.25KWs. Life is good.
I have been breaking in a new 540 cubic inch big block in my boat. Twice rated horsepower of the hull. Reminds me somewhat what you are doing with the 1.25KW and Stradavari. Zero to eighty is blistering and smooth after 85 mph and the engine is still acceleurating makes trimming it and throttling a whole new adventure with enough boat hull out of the water its a drivers boat where you can no longer hand over the wheel to anyone. I used to put others behind the wheel and throttle for them. Going to be a while if ever I am at that point.
But yes a grin a minute as you will soon find. My preamp I can limit gain. Hopefully you can with yours or no one else drives the 1.25s. Lol
That's awesome. Must be a blast to open 'er up. I don't play loud but am craving the smoothness.
Please be safe on the water. I agree, power can not be taken lightly, respect the throttle and have fun.
,
I don’t know McIntosh’s holiday schedule but hope I don’t have to wait too long.
Arneson Surface drive?I have been breaking in a new 540 cubic inch big block in my boat. Twice rated horsepower of the hull. Reminds me somewhat what you are doing with the 1.25KW and Stradavari. That would be a great upgrade along with six blade prop. Still running mercruiser bravo one least tall spacer with nose cone and reduced skeg and labbed hydromotive four blade for less drag. I have seen the same hull running arneson for sale and mine was considerably faster with equivalent power. Must have been wrong prop set up or engine power not as claimed.Arneson Surface drive?
Yep got that already. Latham Thanks.I'm sure you already know, but external hydraulic steering is a must have on that rocketship Velocity.
Oh woops, off topic, sorry Joe, but when you are boat people ya just gotta talk about it........That would be a great upgrade along with six blade prop. Sounds like a great setup you have there, nothing wrong with the Bravo drives.....Of course surface drives work better in pairs, much better high speed stability...
The smallest incorrect prop or any other setup with a surface drive and it severely affects performance..
Anyhoo, back to regular programming...
