What are you using as source for music in the shootout? Turntable, CD, wax cylinder?

Excellent music choices. Pink floyd's "Welcome to the Machine "is also amazing. Well all Pink Floyd is for that matter.
Another to try for low bass, is Flight of the Cosmic Hippo by Bela Fleck and the Flecktones.
Correction The C100 MC stage witch by far is the highest volume input the preamp has.
The speakers are in my house
Finally the waiting is over. I tested and all drivers are working and as is it sounds good. They are not consecutive serial numbered but are a virgin matched set.

My 250Ti aren't consecutive, off by just a couple IIRC. Left and right production, maybe.

They are faded and dry walnut, under the screens they look nice as they would finish back then.
But I'll make them a fine piece of furniture.

Nice speakers, I have always liked that model JBL. Now I know you like your Sansui's but once you get those JBL's all refreshed, I don't think those Sansui's are going to be seeing much play time because I think your looking at a whole different league.
And I don't see anything wrong with those B & W's, they look just fine to me.
