Klipsch kg4's and kg3s together

Zach Nelson

How deep is this rabbit hole?
Has anyone heard this duo playing in harmony together? I have a chance at a pair of kg3's and have this feeling that might mesh well together. Any experience with this out there?

The KG4's don't need other speakers playing with them. If you think they do you need to look at your upstream components for the problem.
That wasn't my question, but thanks. I know they are fine alone, just asking if the 3's could bring another dynamic.

If you think it might work for you, and you have the coin to pick them up,
do so, and tell us what you think!

Some folks are concerned its not a winning situation,
and they have give you technical and sensible reasons why you shouldn't,
but ultimately, they are not spending your money.
These will be your speakers, you get to decide if you like them or not.
You can always try and sell them later if its not ideal.

I have a pair as well, found in an antique store in Gibbon for $100 (mint). As F1 stated, they are fine by themselves. I currently have them connected to my Marantz 240 amp. A very nice combo.
