That's a nice shot of some fine rigs. Truly a spectacular way to spend an evening. Congrats.

As fate would have it, I have dusted off my three R2R decks and will tomorrow start going through my 7" tape collection. Much of the recordings were done from 1977 to 1981. It will be interesting to see what my musical taste was back then. But I already know that over 1/2 of it is Jazz. Not much has changed. ;)
 
Has not improved audio quality as much as I thought it would but I am now a true audiophile.
well for $2 at a swap meet I could not pass it by.

All 4 of these scored at Goodwill stores and they all work. The one in the back on the left is a little cloudy though.

 
Not as old as it looks, got it new around 8 years ago new as a Christmas present. All the dents are from knocking it over a bunch of times,while it was off thankfully!

 
Testing it out, so I dont' have a specific space for it yet, so I got some Geddy in the shot. Found at a yard sale for a quarter.

picked up my 1973 Century Lamp at Goodwill for $2.00

One of my boys picked out this battery-operated mini-lava lamp at some end-of-school event a few weeks ago. The lights are activated by turning it over like a snow globe. It's pretty neat for only being ~4 inches tall. I'm proud to say he said he picked it out because he wanted to have a lava lamp like mine.

Loving it. Thanks to the generosity if a wonderful AKer who chooses to remain anonymous, I now own my first ever lava lamp! And this is my thread, too! Always loved them, but for some reason never had one. And now I have a really cool one too!!!
