Added a few more to the collection. The Telstar (Chrome rocket) is my new favorite. I’m also surprised how well made the candle powered Fireflows are. Based from pictures i thought that they where made from flimsy metal but they actually are made out of thick solid aluminum and are very heavy.

 
I have a lava lamp in my bedroom, though I rarely turn the thing on. I think that I got over needing music to come with some kind of psychedelic visual thing some years ago. I just gave away this plastic "lightshow kit" that plugs into a sound source and makes projected light patterns change according to it. An old girlfriend got it as a gift, was all exited about it until we used it once and were underwhelmed. I think that we both thought "this is really not enough light to read by," put it back in it's box and then forgot about it...

CL purchase today. Thought it was pretty cool as it reacts to sound & touch with sensitivity and intensity adjustment knobs on the back. 16" Luminglas Plasma Light. Glass is really thick.

My camera can't keep up with all the smaller, splinter striking going on, it would only pickup the brighter strikes.

It's likely I'll add another Lava Lamp and a Plasma Ball. I can't help myself.:)

My son has a green with black lava that has an alien printer on the base. I think I found it for him at Spencer's for Christmas last year
