Leak 50

Hi Davidg22. I think there are some Leak owners hereabouts. If you use the search box to search for "Leak amplifier', "Leak Stereo 20" and "Leak Stereo 50" you will find some threads. It does not seem like a very common amp though! Got any pics? We'd love to see it.
thanksl She is a mess at this point but will send pics when ready. I found her in a closet in 1973. The stereo 50 needed a new ELs and the doctor that owned it
just said to install a new transistor amp for his office sound system. Asked if I would take the old thing and throw it away. Very Sweet to my ears for years. But needs some TLC and then I will plug in my old NAD Preamp and 1977 Infinity Rs7s and be back to what I have been missing; rich sound and supplemental heat, I had the Leak Pre, but why they ruined a great amp with that is beyond me.

Yes, don't be embarrassed about how ugly or dirty it is.

I found a receiver in a mud puddle down a dead end road years ago that was stripped of its tuner capacitor and lights and switches but when I got it home, dried it out and took a good look at it, the amplifier stage still worked so I just hid it inside a cabinet and used it with a separate preamplifier. Used it for about a year or so then sold it to a friend. I think he still has it. He named it the puddle jumper.
