(*)(The Dimple is for the changer spindle. Wife insists on having it as a changer. The top was broken along the bottom, so I trimmed it down, and used a tennis ball and a heat gun to shape the top to clear the spindle.)

QX-9900 I got today, to be used in Living room as H.T. as soon as I can lift 50#. (Had disc surgery on Neck this past Wednesday. Doing good, no pain, had fusion with plates.) Have 2 pair of Criterion 4X's I want to use for this. They sound good as or better than the Sansui's. Re-capped and new L-pads.

Mark is right, from 'that auction site'.....

I have mine plugged to the 'switched' receptacle on the SX-1250. I made some small brackets that hold the fixture yet are hidden and the wire runs thru the wall and comes out right behind the reciever and plugs right in so that no wires are showing. When I flip on the system, the light goes on also.

Garage

This is how I use my Vintage Pioneer, it's in the Garage. The living room has a modern (black) Pioneer receiver and a 300+1 carrousel Pioneer Elite CD player.
The Garage amplifier is a SA-9500, then from the bottom CS 8282, VSX D506S that I can not get a lot of info on. It is used as a Tuner since I got the SA. Then a NAD 5330 CD player that was almost given to me in a Garage sale. I love the lack of buttons on that one. On top a RG-1. If you don't have one of these get one quick they are cheap and very interesting.
Of to the side not in the picure, but hooked to the amp up is a CTM5R, a casette player that holds 6 cassettes. Very conveniant if you have a lot of tapes and are working on a project.

The SA 9500 has a hum that has to get fixed this winter. The speakers are HPM 100 that are sitting on shelves. Did I mention that my Living room speakers are JAMO D165. Dont ask where I got them from.
