that, sir, is what you call scroe!

I've got two pair of the much lesser valued series IV, those are watkins woofers, and are claimed to be amazing.

Specifically the original post shows the Infinitesimal 2.0 version.
And it does look like they have the proper dual voice coil Watkins mid/woofers.

That's an Emit Electro Magnetic Induction Tweeter. one of the finest high frequency transponders I've ever heard.
It is in every great Infinity speaker. do some lurking in the infinity forum.

It's mated to a Watkins dual voice coil 5" woofer, and it outputs far more bass then should be possible from that enclosure.

Gave them a good workout yesterday,

Tim Buckley, Greetings from LA
801, Live
Yello, Stella
Japan, Oil on Canvas
Sia, 1000 forms of Fear

Everything was far better than I could have thought possible from such small speakers,
smallest I have ever had.

I settled on the treble set at - ,
but the contour A/B, I still haven't worked out.
Emailed Infinity, but they haven't got any literature regarding the use of them,
Just basic specs.

Might I humbly suggest to be careful with those drivers. I have repaired those Watkins and it's no easy task. The emits while robust are old and tend to break their ribbons. Another not easy task with the solder to fix.

They are great speakers. I did full recap on a pair which to my ears benefited them greatly.

I crossed mine over with a sub very successfully to take some pressure off the mids. They blended very well.

Enjoy them!!

YES
yes it does,
trying them with a pioneer A400 at the moment,
will have to wait till tomorrow to really turn it up,
I respect my neighbours.
I. Have a 15” sealed sub and neibors cannot heat it . Glad I live in my parents house not an apartment otherwise I’d need to keep volume down. Went sealed to not boom the neighbors to death.
