Stranger than strange lol. We started messing around with halide grows in the 80s as well, nobody had seen anything like them. We shared the knowledge (for a slight percentage over time), and it spread like wildfire here lol.I learned it was 60% RH and 60 F, close, but a little cooler and a little drier. It should take 10 days or so to "dry". Maybe two weeks. Depends how wet the plant was, bud density, etc.
Scotty Real on YouTube. He has all kinds of growing videos, so don't take my word for it. Watch and see what you think.
I'll never cure any other way as long as I have the room.
Whole plant, or as big a pieces as possible. Only remove the very largest leaves. Hang upside down. My basement corner grow closet stays right around 60 F and 60% RH with no lights.
I've cured in brown paper bags. Hey, it works.
I've tried wet trimming, drying, store in jars with and without Boveda packs. Burping. Did it this way for a long time.
Tried 58% and 62% Boveda packs.
After curing with the 60/60 specs, it yields the best results IMHO.
Been home growing indoors on and off since 1985. I'm no expert, but I found methods that work for me. I grow DWC these days. Started in soil.
Weird, been 100% legal in my state for a while. It's still strange talking openly about it.
Ah, good times, me and a buddy maintained a top secret 50 plant room in rock wool while I was in university, so it still seems weird to me to see people consuming in public.
