Log out, log in anomaly - change bookm@rk to https

This is pretty frustrating.
I’m using Safari on an iPhone 6+ Running the latest iOS.
I can be logged in at one minute, click to a different page and get logged out, and then When clicking to another page be logged in again.
Is there any word from the admins as to whether this is something that’s being worked on?
 
Some links here are still http, if I click on those I get logged out. Other then that, if I stay https it seems okay.

The other problem (already reported) is thousands of my music pics are tied to http, so they are missing if I login under http, they're there.

This should be a relatively easy database fix in the forum sw.

With the size of the database here I don't think anything is "Easy"

Not making excuses but the admins here work for "At A Boys" and not much more.

I agree with our team here doing a great job.

The database http/https problem is fixable for the pics. The data is there, it's just a mapping problem.
 
I haven't had a problem with all my apple stuff, iMac, iPhone and iPad until this week witch is strange. Now on my phone I can not be logged in if I go from one thread or another, or the new post page to a thread. It's random with no rhyme or reason and can't be fixed on my end. On a iPhone you don't have https to change to, the search box on every page only shows Audiokarma.org.

But I still don't get how it wasn't a problem for weeks but it is now.

I had some significant problems on my MacBook Pro using Chrome and Safari yesterday, and my iPhone using Safari. Then the problems disappeared again. Though I had done all the cache clearing, https-ing etc. a couple weeks ago, I did nothing different yesterday. It was a transitory log out storm. No rhyme or reason that I can tell. But there must be a reason that I just do not understand as that is not my skill set with computers. Hoping they can get it figured out for everyone.

Oh yes I do a lot of this daily.

An actual customer service request earlier today.

Customer "Joyce", for whom I manage some mail servers, complains the the
time must be off on one of the servers because there is a 20 minute
discrepency.

I log in, check ntp service, check the time manually on all servers, all
is fine. I tell this to Joyce.

Joyce realizes it's only happening at one desk in the office. She checks
and discovers that the end user has set their computer clock manually to
be 20 minutes fast.

We have the following conversation:

Joyce:
"I checked me sending him an email and the time was correct 12:36, but his
computer says that it is 12:55 because he changed the time on his computer
to be 20 minutes FAST"
"Is he insane?"

Me:
"why o why would you change your computer's clock?"
"He must have also disabled the computer's automatic time sync."
"You can't do that by accident!"
"it requires some determination."
"WHY"

Joyce:
"he did it on purpose"
"insanity"
"I just explained how he is causing everyone to think that something is
wrong with their computers"
"and that if someone wants to see what time they received an email from
him, they can't"

Me:
"You're explaining it wrong."
"You need to use a baseball bat to explain this."

Joyce:
"You are so correct."

The site converted to SSL (https://) and since then a combination of non SSL links (search and internal) , people logging in to http:// vs https:// , people logging into https://www.audiokarma.org vs https://audiokarma.org and weirdness with Xenforo has lead to chaos for more than a few users.

Likely there are other contributing factors but its been over a month with no real concrete answer how to fix this.

And now that the https:// SSL conversion has been done its not possible to revert (Which would not be a smart move) without affecting a lot of people who have adjusted to SSL here.

What is so strange in my case is it will happen to me for a little while. Typically in the evening, then things will go back to normal. I tried and did all the suggested things, but once in a while, there is a little logout storm, and then it passes. Strange.

That was my experience, as well svl. Sir.
Very frustrating, at times.
Sometimes, I would log back in clear all my cookies. etc., and pound the page refresh button multiple times, and try to like/respond, etc. to whatever I was attempting to do on this site, and sometimes it worked, and sometimes, it didn`t !!
 
I am using Firefox, and have had to disable security for this site, and allow mixed mode for it to work in a reasonable manner, likely making security worse than before.
