It's kind of funny, in a way. A few weeks ago my wife comes up to me and says "you know that nice Victorian house down the street from us?" "yes, I say" "well here's the checkbook, better leave now" This was totally out of character for her and I asked why and got no answer, and so I left. She had been by there and there were a couple speakers. My wife, not knowing alot about speakers "on site" thought they may have been of interest to me. They weren't, BUT, it was so cool that she did that! I did, however, find an interesting sewing cabinet I'd never seen before. And the owner, who noticed my interest, took me into his garage and showed me his, recently parted, wifes antique sewing machines and cabinets, all of which were in very impressive condition. My main line of work is Sewing Machines, so this was a very nice find. We haven't worked out a deal due to the fact he's not yet ready to part with them.
I didn't come home with anything, but it was a very cool experience. I feel I'm one of those lucky guys, the ones who have very tolerant wives, and who on occasion surprise me (us) from time to time with one of our guilty pleasures.
