They are the same and I don't know why they have separate businesses/websites. Several years ago I placed orders from both websites and the invoices used yet another name for both. Sorry, but I can't remember the name, something like "ex atlier"

Yes, they’ve got three different websites – lpgear.com., lptunes.com and elexatelier.com. Elexatelier.com is mainly for turntable belts, while lpgear.com has a better stylus and cartridge listing. I’m not sure if it’s changed now, but a few years ago when I bought off them, you couldn’t order off elexatelier.com, but were pointed to lpgear.com for internet sales.

As I recall LPTunes was setup by LPGear to handle orders they were not able to process but don't remember if it was PayPal or something else.
