I have a MAC 4100 and everything seems to work except the FM. I get AM reception but nothing on FM, not even static. Am I doing something wrong ? I am new to vintage receivers.

Welcome to AK! There could be several reasons the FM isn't functioning. You do have a decent antenna connected to the receiver?
Regardless, that is a very expensive, highly-regarded receiver and I would highly recommend taking it to a reputable technician to be serviced.

That's where my Mac 4300 is right now. Send it to the hospital and you'll be cured.
