Mac 4100 no Fm Mpx?

Just picked up a 4100 on Craigslist for $120.00 everything works but Fm mpx only works in mono no Mpx light?

Most FM tuner problems are "pay the guy who knows how to do it right" problems, and for what you paid, worth a professional total refurb.

Knowing how much FM has sucked lately, you could just celebrate a score on a kick ass integrated amp and not look back.

The 4100 tuner is superior when cleaned and aligned, MPX out wold start with alignment, it is very rare that a failed component causes problems.
Start with cleaning the connector at the plug in IF module.

Wow! What a deal (assuming you didn't leave off a zero)! Send it to Mr. Dewick or Audio Classics, have it cleaned, get the tuner aligned, and have the forty year old electrolytic capacitors replaced. Then you'll know why people love their Mac gear (and you will still be way ahead money wise!)
