If I'm not mistaken, the 3200 is a pre-amp only. Did you have a PA in mind? Perhaps a nice 140? That would do the trick.Wondering if a Marantz 3200 can be nicely matched with Large Advent speakers...

Thanks ClusterChuck and yes, my intent is to combine the 3200+140+110. I just want to be sure that this would be a sweet match for the large Advents. This would complete my "vintage" system. Thanks again, much appreciated! If I'm not mistaken, the 3200 is a pre-amp only. Did you have a PA in mind? Perhaps a nice 140? That would do the trick.

Hey ClusterChuck, yes I have a set of the original Large Advents that are mint and so, to your point, I am building a nice sonic and cosmetic vintage system. When complete, i will be sure to post pics. Thanks again!!Disclosure: it's been more than 40+ years since hearing Marantz muscle behind Large Advents, but in romantic memory of the experience, I'd have to say HELL YES, the Model 110 should be a very nice mate to the Large Advent.
Out of curiosity, are you using - or going for - the original or New Large Advent? Intending on using stands? Plan on implementing crossover refresh/mods?
At the cosmetic level, it's difficult to imagine a more beautiful vintage system. At the sonic level, you should be very pleased.
Welcome, and post pics of your progress!
PS, here's a temporary set up of a little Marantz/Advent combo.

Thanks and I am looking forward to finding each separate component. Greatly appreciate the response!!Still have the 1070 and Advent combo bought new in the 70's.
Always worked for me. The 1070 is in combo with a 170DC power those Advents and a pair of Snell's.
Would think your intentions of Advent 3200 140 110 is a good place to start a vintage system.
