A question popped in to my head the other day, and I am just curious: Did McIntosh ever make a cassette deck?

They never offered a cassette deck....... search Roger Russell Mcintosh and you'll see a well laid out history of their products.

Sure they did!

But, you could only get it from your local weird-a-roo(subaru) dealer from 2000 - 2004.

No, they did not. And they didn't even make an open reel deck. McIntosh stuck to power amplifiers and preamplifiers then, and didn't add much else till their first tuner in the 1950's. They evolved as their expertise did.

Reminds me of my mark Levinson system in my old Lexus , it actually sounded really good
