As for me ... I usually make frequent stops and don't like being in a car all day.
325 to 375 miles per day is comfortable. 400 to 425 is doable but not preferable.
When I was younger ... about 600 miles per day was my max.
At or around 600 is the most I ever remember driving ... but I might have went more a time or two.

My best was about 650 miles on a motorcycle.....then I had to pee!

I've done the DC to FL trip without stopping a few times, over 900 miles. But it's no fun. 400 is about all I care to drive non-stop.

Longest drive for me was 703 miles, driving a GMC 1-ton crew cab pulling a blown gas hydro to the boat races from Manteca, CA to Firebird Lake just on the outskirts of Phoenix, AZ. Leave Friday night, drive back Sunday night. I did that trip 3 or 4 times back in my younger days.
More recently, several times we've driven 245 miles in the morning to see the kids, go to lunch, then turn around and drive back that afternoon.

I did 1000 mile plus trips when I was younger.
Now, I pack a lunch and take a break between the house and the end of the driveway...

I honestly don't remember how far on 2 wheels. I was bad for milage grind cross country riding between Ft Jackson SC and SLC and back in the 1970s.

I remember getting off the bike at a restaurant off I-70, probably somewhere in Kansas. My hands were totally numb from the cold, I used my numb hands like flippers to open the doors and ordered a hot cuppa to warm my hands so I could unzip and have a serious piss.

For a typical road trip, I *try* to keep the driving time to about 8 hrs.
When we take the family to see my folks in Santa Fe, my 1st day stop over is Benson, AZ which is right about 460 miles or 8 hrs. That pretty much wipes me out for the day; just want a sit down dinner, a cold beer or two, then get some sleep for day 2.
My oldest son goes to college at Humboldt State/Arcata, CA.
We've made this round trip 6 times. My preferred route is 820 miles.
The routine usually goes two days to get up there, then coming back, I just want to get home so we power thru non-stop.
820 miles in one day with white knuckle driving the grapevine and then LA traffic takes a heavy toll.

I drove back and forth between Detroit and Denver twice last year taxiing my daughter's 90# German Shepherd; 1 way solo both times. We basically powerdrove, she when she was in the car because of the dog, and obviously myself alone going back.
We stopped for naps in waysides, but never got a room and never more than a couple hours. On the out to get trip I got past Grand Island , NE or over 800 miles before snoozing, and on the return back trip I opted out of a 4th run through Nebraska, and went the southern Kansas route and got outside of St. Louis before I decided to snooze out the storms I ran into for about 650 miles.

130 miles 3.5 to 4.5 hours enough for me .
I have drove from both Orlando and Pensacola Florida to the Louisville Ky area just stopping for fueling up and relief breaks. In my youth drove from the middle of Maine to KY with as little time wasted in between.
But normally try to keep it around 400 to 500 miles a day.

Back in 1982 I drove from Bundaberg to Melbourne inside 23 hours, around 1200 miles or 1900 kays. was driving a Vdub Golf MK1.
Last year I picked up a 2001 Toyota HiAce van and drove from Byron Bay to Melbourne inside a day, about 1000 miles.
I will NEVER do it again. I mean NEVER.

1,255 miles to drive back from Seattle with a pair of L1590 speakers w/PA1 amps in them. Not in a big hurry to do it again any time soon. I had a nice new fully-loaded Tahoe rental though, so can't complain about the ride at least.
My kid just drove that BOTH ways in the span of a week... but in his case there was a woman involved.
Gives you pause for thought on the relative attraction (motivational factor) of the opposite sex vs. cool stereo stuff, eh?
